Valley International Christian Center has always been a ministry with vision, heart, and a desire to advance the Kingdom.  In 2007, VICC began to expand its borders to neighboring communities and cities in the area of church planting.  In 2009, a team of people with a heart after God, was put together to begin work in Brownsville, Texas.  Meetings were held and groundwork was assigned.  On February 21st, 2010, the doors were opened to the public on our new campus known as Brownsville International Christian Center with 407 people in attendance the very first service!  Throughout the coming months, many guests visited BICC and many of them would go on to become members.  It was in the year of 2011 where the ministry went to another level of growth.  Pastor Frank Benavides Jr. became the first Lead Pastor of the BICC campus under the Leadership of Bishop Jaime Loya.  With now a full time staff in place, the church was able to do a lot more for the City of Brownsville and the Congregation.  Another service was added because of the growth.  Major outreaches and ministries were established through the church.  Now, with a thriving Children's ministry and Youth ministry, the church was ready to move ahead with the vision.  At the beginning of 2012, another significant moment happened in the life of the church.  Pastor Frank Benavides Jr. was appointed and commissioned by Bishop Jaime Loya as the Senior Pastor of the church.  The name of the church was changed to PowerHouse Church, but continues to share the legacy and carry out the work that was birthed in the heart of our Bishop Jaime Loya.
